Preparing for Wine walking
Wine walking is a serious business. I hope that you’ve understood that.
And there is no better place to prepare yourself than at the Salon des Vins des Vignerons Indépendants, Paris Champerret (Independent Winegrowers Wine Fair, Paris Champerret) — .
This Salon brings together winemakers, usually small ones, from all over France.
You can discover all sorts of wines, some of which you may not know. You can meet winemakers, who you might wish to visit. You can even learn logistical details to help you access different regions by public transport, as I did.
The winemakers are always friendly, as you see in my photos, and are ready to share information with you.
This year, I visited the March 18-21 Salon. But the Salon takes place twice a year in Paris, in March and December.
And wine and food fairs take place all year around all over France. Do yourself a favour and go!
